As you know, Pidcock's regularly advertise in Golden Wing and they sent us details of their Open Day 13th/14th of June.........sounds good fun!

On June 5th 2008 a new chapter in the history of Pidcock Motorcycles Ltd begins!


Since 1997 Pidcock have represented Honda in Nottingham, from their showroom on Woodborough Road, Mapperley.

The move has been instigated by the change in improving market conditions and the purchasing habits of the public, mostly being changed by the use of the Internet.

The new showroom will become one of the largest Honda only showrooms in the UK and the first in Europe to be built with the latest Honda Identity within the showroom area.

With the move, changes are able to be made to the services on offer too. There will be a near doubling in size of the dealership over the Woodborough Road site, which allows for quite different displays to be added. The New Showroom will now include a “SCOOTER Shop within The Shop” experience for all commuters and a new “OFF ROAD” section, which will cover both Moto X and Enduro.

Mick Extance, who has competed in the Dakar Rally for the past 7 years, will be the new face of PIDCOCK OFF ROAD, giving his special preparation to all OFF ROAD bike sales. OFF ROAD experience days will also be available, which will be held on a regular basis. Bookings are now being taken for these days, but space is limited.

There has been an increase in use of motorcycles and scooters for transport solutions for a few years now and during June a new Rider Training school will become operational from the new showroom.

PIDCOCK RIDER TRAINING will offer new riders a route to their first bike, and also offer existing riders improved skills with Advanced rider training courses. The new training service will be run by Ex-police motorcycle riders, who have many years experience and DSA Certification up to advanced rider instruction.

Apart from the new services on offer, Pidcock Honda will continue to provide 1st class customer service on those regular requirements like servicing and maintenance of your current Honda and some of the best prices for New Hondas from the 2008 range.

New and Used Hondas will always be in stock and prepared to the highest quality by fully trained Engineers and Technicians.


Honda clothing has just been launched as a genuine Honda Product line and will be in stock at the New showroom too, along with Alpine Stars rider equipment, Spada Waterproof clothing and Shoei and Airoh Helmets.

Open Weekend Planned.
On the 14th and 15th June 2008, Pidcock Honda have planned a major Open Weekend to celebrate the opening of the new showroom!

The two days will be filled with activities including Bookable Demonstration rides, Special Clothing offers, Rider training advice and Bookings, Off Road rider experience day booking, plus special New model offers from Honda!

Easy to find with off road parking, just follow Fields Farm Road past the Pidcock BMW showroom for ½ mile then turn right into Manor House Road, Long Eaton.

You must be on the pay role for Pidcocks as Im impressed with the sales pitch!..However, I must say that I ride 40 miles to Pidcock Triumph in Long Eaton rather than 15 miles to Webbs in Lincoln simply because they are a superb dealer with helpful and very friendly people. So I would imagine that the Honda site will perform to the same high standard!

I may try to come along!

Afraid not! They advertise regularly so I deal with them a lot and they are a really nice bunch of guys. Infact, they wrote the editorial for the mag but with a copy date of 1st June it is touch and go as to whether the mag is out before their weekend - hence why we offered to promote via News Letters and Forum. Don't think I can make it that weekend, but it does all sound good fun
