six of us from Oxford sneeked off work early (no, we did book holidays where applicable) and did 85 miles down to Poole Harbour for the bike night.
Got there 6.30pm and it was teaming with bikes ............every variety! Fantastic - all colours, paint jobs, makes and types parked on every road and every inch of the harbour.
All the hotels and pubs were doing burgers on bbq's, there was a brass band playing and lots of ice cream
Cost £1 to park and takes place every Tues pm during the summer months, obviously much better attendance when the weather is good!
Well worth a visit if you are withing sensible travelling distance.

yes, did see some in amongst all the other different types - there seemed to be everything there - infact I have also seen a few Monkeys around Newbury lately - they are definitely increasing in numbers!
