For the best rates pay full amount at time of booking gets the biggest discount. If you don't mind being scattered about the site individual bookings are cheaper.

I have just been in touch with Haven and the price is the same weather you pay a deposit or the full amount.

Central they may say that to you but others have been treated differently and getting deals. Depends where you work and time of day booking.

The prices you quote are the ones they have given us as a club. NHS, DHL and even their own web adverts can give different rates.

Camping booking was cheaper for Richard at Three Shires doing 'independant' booking. I am only passing on the information coming to me.

Key thing is to get bookings in soon.

Dibbles right

Postby Goomi on Fri Feb 15, 2008 4:51 pm

Dibbles right don't be affriad to ask for more of a discount more so if you are taking the insurance and cancelation addon's with them or get them to add those in for free.

Are there any club activities / rides etc. planned for the weekend? I'm trying to negotiate time off for good behaviour at the moment so it will be a single camping expedition. Mrs. Chimpys camping days are long gone! So if I can swing it, I'll throw a tent in the car and the bike on the rack.

Chimpy there there will certainly be at least two ride out prepared one for Saturday and one for Sunday. That aside the location is ideal for smaller groups to explore. Although I believe we are tied to sharing venue for entertainment you can garuntee there will be plenty of us about in the venings to keep you company.

The National is a brilliant way to meet other members and make friends.
Can thoroughly recommend it 8)

Shame we can't make it this year as it clashes with another, long planned, holiday.

You'll love it Chimpy :o))

I'm with Chris on this (not literally) so if there is a second spare room, I would like to be considered, money up front etc

Well, I've negotiated a weekend pass (but it's gonna cost me  ) and the booking forms been printed off for posting in the morning.

So I look forward to seeing you all.

Is there a list of all who are going?

Barry ask Heather at Dorset who is organising the event as only those organising have such answers not everything is on the forum.

I would suggest that as she has been working on this since last years gathering she may have a few bits and pieces in place.
