East Midlands Rally

East Midlands Rally

Postby Red Mick on Sun May 25, 2008 8:48 pm

When I rejoined after a few years break, I was mentioning rallies as being not my thing, i.e. camping. I'm assured that most rallies have nearby accomodation. :?: I've tried to contact the EM rally by leaving a message on an answerphone, but no response.

Anyone on here know if the two local pubs to the site do B&B?

Don't know of any specific B&B's but know the rally is at the Beehive Farm Woodland Lakes, at Rosliston, Derbyshire DE12 8HZ. I found a B&B at a local farm near the Clapper's Rally from the tourist board web site. It was great. Hope this helps! ;o)

The number for East Midlasnds branch has changed and will be revised in the next Golden Wing. In the meantime Erica's is good advice as the web will throw up a wider choice of B&B's in the area for you than the locals are probably aware of! For instance I did not even know there was a B&B at Westoning and I drive through the place every day!

What a great weekend out AGAIN! East Mids did a splendid job with fully catered event including beer and wine at very reasoble terms. Must try more biscuits wink.

You that got there wasn't it fun you that did not get there well you missed the fun, the ride, the camradery and anything else that makes up a great weekend away.

Lady P what a let down AGAIN.
