Do you mean the BMF National Rally http://www.bmf.co.uk/pages/bmf_main_pag ... age_id=783
or the BMF Show, this weekend?

Ruth & I will be at the BMF Show both days.
Look forward to seeing you there :o))

Does anyone know if the smoking ban applies to the marquees/tents at the BMF Show?
I've looked through the exhibitors notes, as posted on the BMF website and can see nothing referring to it.

I assume that it does.

My understanding is similar to yours Steve... I think there have to be 3 open sides though otherwise it is deemed an enclosed space. There must be a way of finding out for definite though.. I feel a phone call coming on... ;o)

I just rang the BMF and they said there is NO SMOKING in any of the tents or marquees.

Smoking is only permitted outside.

Well done Jennie 8)

I assumed that was the case, just surprised there was nothing in the exhibitors rules.

I have always believed that smoking under canvass was dangerous, from a fire risk potential anyway.

Can anybody tell me where the HOC Marquee is, is it in the usual spot?
