I went along yesterday and what a great stand - the Cambs lot have done us proud... a warm welcome from the meeters and greeters, far too many bikes to list for you to drool over, a smashing regalia 'seaside souvenir' stand and a cafe which has on offer the most declicious home baking ever and all under cover!! Superb.
Great to see so many familiar faces and meet so many new too.
If you're doing nowt today then I would recommend going.... the show is huge and full of bargains - I got myself a fab new lid for £25 !!!! There were full sets of leathers (complete with lid) for under £200... autojumble, clothing (non-bike - ie... gothic, new age etc).... boots, gloves., food outlets (bit pricey I think so take your own unless you want hot)... shows (royal Artillery display team... speedway racing... ) Bands... funfair rides... riders in a metal ball cage doing stunts that were breathtaking.... it really is a full day with loads to see and spend your hard earned on...
Hope you get to enjoy!
(Underfoot was a bit wet and muddy by the end of the day so if you're going by car wear wellies or boots!!)...
Don't forget the club stand also offers helmet park facilities for you too!!!
What more could you want??
Oh.. and for those of you who are interested... yes.. there are scantily clad females walking around handing out leaflets for different companies.... (tommy tippee drool bibs available upon request).
