is there an easy way to filter to be able to see just the latest postings, say those within the last week for example

I'm new to the forum and will probably drop by a couple of times a week during lunch, it would be nice to be able to quickly read and contribute to the current stuff

From the forum home page you can click on a view posts since you last log on. The links at the top of the menu on the right.
