Yes there was an IOW branch and to thebest of my knowledge there is still an IOW Honda Owners Club I am not sure how active they are at all, but they seperated from the National Club saying that it was not relevant to their Island status? However we have Isle of Man and Ireland with us now so IOW is missing out.

If anyone wants to get back on the HOC map they would be more than welcome.

One of the best rallies I ever went to was a National Rally on the IoW... fantastic crowd, great venue and loads of fun! (It was back in the early '90's)

Smallbrooke Stadium, Ryde is where most of the bike rallies are held as it has such good facilities.

I was making enquiries the other day about a different event and they have the last two weekends in July 2009 and the first two weekends in Aug free ( Fee is £50 a day for the site, they make the money on beer and food)

You will have to get your rally folks on the case.

If serious, I could be liaison this end

cheers

Smallbrooke is a good venue. The IOW Monkey Bike weekend has been based there in the past.
