1/ Is there a way get rid of the bit at the top which is pretty irrelevant to most of us about languages etc?

2/ Can we get the loading to be consistant it seems the forum keeps jumping back to the first not very easily readable format.

Other than that seems to be going OK this forum version however many.

I haven't found a way of getting rid of the top box.
I presume it's something that we have to have, like the Google ads, to show how clever they are  :|

The board is set to the new 'prosilver' background style as default.
But if you go to your 'User Control Panel' (under the HOC logo. top left) and then 'Board preferences' you can change 'Board style:' to 'Subsilver2' which was the old board background.

Hope that helps :o))

Followed your instruction and reverted back to Subsilver2, didn't like it so I'm back to the new layout and style

I followed your instructions when the first came out to get 'subsilver 2' and was pleased that I could view in the old easy read style. However it is tha stability of that that seems to be the problem. Happily reading in ss2 then suddenly enter a topis and it goes back to the not so nice to read style. Irritating rather than a problem.
