I used to live near Northwich. The first event was the year I moved away, so I'm yet to see it..

I really must make more of an effort to get up there when it's on

Really must try and make it next year - some of the guys from our Branch have been and say it is real fun. Is it usually around the same date? If so I will put it in the diary NOW!

Weatherwise this year was a bit of a disaster after noon, but it's a fun day none the less. Fascinating to see Jim Redman mingling with the crowds - 90 per cent of whom oblivious to his presence, and 10 per cent just gobsmacked that one of the gods had appeared on earth!
