Three Shire's Egg Run

Postby Red Mick on Wed Mar 04, 2009 11:17 am

I know this is in the diary anyway, but just a heads up on it.

Our Egg Run will be on Sunday 15th March starting from Police HQ in Sheffield, meeting from 8.30, leaving at 10.00.

Just remember bring cash not eggs ;o)

Anyway, all details on the Diary page of the HOC home site.

Great day was had by all, over 1000 bikes, estimates vary up to 1500!!

Those of you who can, watch Calendar on Monday night.

There's the hospital's own video on http://www.sheffieldchildrenshospital.o ... icleid=467 which gives you an idea of the day.

I got to see james and what a great guy he is
I walked round the hospital with him talking to the children and handing eggs out
and he has so much time for everyone.
what a fantastic day it was and were hoping to raise enough money
to buy a Brittle bone scanner which will make a HUGE difference to a childs life as it will catch it very early on.

We collected over 2000 on the day just walking round with buckets .
Thanks go to sheffield police , simon athey , kev (threeshires ) and jt
Thanks to veryone who took part

Jackie (threeshires )

Well done to everyone: sounds like you all had a really great day :o).

Unfortunately it was a bit too far for me to make it to the Three Shires on two successive weekends ;o).

Regards

Chimpy
