Hi All!..I always new that it was going to be 'touch and go' for the trip and very much last minute!..It looks like I can come providing I can get the details of accomodation. I have checked ferry and can travel at the same time as the main party. :o))

I have sent Phil an e mail requesting his arrangements and would attempt to mirror them! Is anyone travelling to Portsmouth coming down A1 or near my place in Lincolnshire? if so can I tag along?

Would be good to hear from someone and also whether I would still be welcome to join the group? Thanks.. :o)

Ah the Place for the Bike has been taken up by Richard already so you will need to book the ferry. There are other Hotels and B&B's within walking distance of the places we are stopping I'll try to get in touch with one or 2 and let you know what I get back

Hi Chris, Paul's right, the place that was available has been already filled by one of our branch members so you'll be welcome along but you'll need to make your own arrangements.

Sorry JB

Thanks JB! 'out to you'!!

Goomi, I would be most grateful for any assistance on the B@B front! Providing the room is available somewhere nearby then the trip is on and I will go ahaead and book ferry!

Will wait to hear from you, It might even be worth my while checking with the main parties B@B venue(s) as there may have been cancelations! :o)

Hi Chris,
The 2 locations we have are the Arroplace and the Chez Mounie. I was over there last week trying to sort things out because there was a little bit of confusion. I do know the Arroplace has a room for 2-nights if that's any good to you.

just emailing the other B&B's to see if they have room for all 3 nights or just the 1 night plus you might want to look at the camp site at

http://www.arromanches.com/uk/camping_accueil.htm

they do mobile home rentals from 150 euros for 2 nights + 50 euros a night for extra so 200 euros for the total time but working on the other hotels as it would work out cheaper for you to stay the 2 nights in the arroplace and 1 night in hotel thou it does mean moving stuff around but working on it :)

http://mounie.arromanches.net

http://www.lemulberry.fr

http://www.arroplace.com

The Mounie and Arroplace are the 2 places we have booked already and the arroplace is the one that can place you for 2 nights just waiting to hear from others but I'm sure we can sort something out Don't forget to get the upgrade when booking your ticket a358 code I believe

ah the Upgrade

The Upgarde is from standard wooden benches to nice cloth covered benches on the ferry.....

hehe no it's the discount I was able to sort out with LD lines for all HOC members using LD lines

so instead of travelling Standard we are all travelling Club Class for the same price as standard

so when booking your ticket make sure you mention the HOC Upgrade and quote A358
