HONDA DAY AT THE ACE

Postby Chimp Boy on Fri May 16, 2008 9:54 am

Hi Folks

Is anybody going to the Honda Day at the Ace Cafe, West London on the 25th of May? Part of the event is a Monkey Bike ride into the West End of London (to give all the tourists a treat ;o)).

Regards

Chimpy

Honda UK are supposed to be there and we are with them drumming up interest we hope in the HOC. Just emailed the branches as we were originally down for the Monday but note that it is actually the Sunday. I intended on being there as were West and North London branches and I know Erica was looking to be there.

Re: HONDA DAY AT THE ACE - lift request

Postby Shellshine on Mon May 19, 2008 9:00 am

I know it's a long shot - but here goes anyway!

Is anyone going in a car and passing by my way?? (NN9 6SX)

Would be ever so grateful if could hitch a ride (well, a lift as can't drive or go on a bike at the mo) there (and back) of course......

My contact details are in Golden Wing... but if you aren't a member (shame on you! join immediately!!   ) my mobile is 07759 805181

I'm fully house trained, don't smoke, only dribble occassionally (but am seeking medical advice for this.. ;o) ) but I do tend to talk incessantly   (I'm convinced it's a form of tourettes..... :o? ) - you have been warned!

Seriously though - I would love to go to this, I've never been to the Ace and although I know it would be better on a bike... if there is anyone going who is willing to have me tag along I'd be very grateful.

If you do go are you going to bring any polo shirts? I could do with a new one.
