Charity Rideout 29th June Ace-Boxhill-Brighton

Postby jallen on Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:01 am

Bit short notice but...

I am organising a Charity Rideout on Sunday.

We plan to meet at the Ace Cafe at 9.30 ride to Boxhill for say 11.30 and then down to Brighton for some Fish and Chips :)
I will be collecting £5 from every rider which will be donated to Macmillan (Cancer Charity).

Although I can't make the run to Brighton due to a prior engagement, I might well see you at Box Hill around 11.30. I do need to leave Box at 11.30 latest to make my appointment though.

I'll be riding this:

What bikes will your group be riding?

Mostly Fireblades with a few other assorted bikes. I will be on the Black/Silver FireBlade in my avatar.
Hope to see you there.

How did the rideout go John? I was at Box Hill until 11.30 but didn't see you. It was very busy there this morning with the Police, Fire and Rescue, Highways Agency and the IOM Marshalls all in attendance. The Police were giving away sidestand pucks which was nice.

It went really well we managed to raise £110 for Macmillan's which was pretty good. The weather was really good too, especially in Brighton.

I think we arrived at 11.30 ish but I didn't check my watch. We were all parked up in the overflow carpark.
