2008 Box Hill to Brighton Monkey Bike Run

Postby Chimp Boy on Sun Jul 27, 2008 7:59 pm

The 7th annual Box Hill to Brighton Monkey Bike Run will take place on Sunday the 3rd of August. Over 100 Monkeys, Gorillas, Daxs and Apes are expected to take part.

The run departs from Rykas Cafe Car Park, Box Hill near Dorking at 10.00 sharp and winds it way through scenic country roads including the famous Ditchling Beacon Climb, finally arriving at Brighton Seafront for ice creams.

See http://www.monkeyrun.co.uk/ for details.

The start of the run is quite a spectacle itself, so if you're in the area pop down.

Regards

Chimpy

Hi Chimpy,

Was good meeting you yesterday :o)) . How did the ride go? Me and Jack fancied a longer ride so we started down to Brighton but then the weather turned. Did you get caught in it?

...........Monkey Biking seems to bring images of a bunch of 'Cheese and Pickle' sandwich brigade who would love to be affiliated to the steam train club!!..Im sure that you get 'fun' from said bikes! but I think that 'diddly' machines are just not it! (In me own humble opinion) You need to get something 'decent' Er ho ho flippin ho!..Of course I am expressing me own opinion.....Hey Chimpy? :o)) ;o)
