I would suggest that you use photobucket as your hosting site because it's free and very popular so it will not go away anytime soon. So, connect to http://www.photobucket.com. The first time you use it, you will have to register. This doesn't take too long, but please remember to click "No thanks" and not "NEXT" when it asks if you want the PRO version.
Once you have registered, you need to upload your photos. The window looks like this
Click on "UPLOAD Images", select the picture and follow the brief instructions. Remember that images can only be 800 x 600 so you may have to resize them first (that's another tutorial).
Once uploaded, you now need to get them linked to this site. So, from Photobucket, find the picture (just scroll down from the main screen and it will be there) and click on the SHARE button (just above the little picture). You will get another screen come up and you must then click on the "Get Link Code" tab (at the top) to get to the right place. See this
Where it says "IMG for bulletin boards and forums", click the link just below that (it says "full size" next to it) to select it and press CTRL-C to copy it. Then go to this forum and paste it in. It should paste a link like "//i847.photobucket.com/albums/ab35/alan-sharkey/linkpage1Custom.jpg" with some IMG stuff around it.
That's it. Post your message and the pictures will appear. If you want to post larger images, you need to click on the "clickable thumbnail" link rather than the "full size" link.
