I got this from another Scooter riding mate who lives on Portland.

I have just been emailed that Red Light sensors and speed traps have been installed on Holes Bay Road Poole.

The significance is that it is the access to Poole for bike night every Tuesday. Thousands of bikes of all breeds turn out, a very popular meeting down this neck of the woods.

The Red Light and speed sensors are at the southern end by the massive Asda store.

BTW they are average speed cameras.

Don't speed, or jump red lights and you'll be OK , then!

I was there for Tuesday evening's bike night and there were certainly more police around than I'd seen on previous visits.

Spotted the traffic light cameras on the Holes Bay road but didn't notice any speed cameras, hopefully I didn't creep over the speed limit

When we were leaving there was also a speed trap operating on the A341 a little before it's junction with the A31, presumably there have been some problems in the area and they've decided to "manage them"!
