Cyclone C-11 Talking alarm version

Postby BikerBlastUK on Thu Jun 18, 2009 7:51 pm

Hi, have just taken delivery of my VTR 1000 Firestorm and have just bought a motorcycle alarm off ebay from motorcycle alarms, a Cyclone C-11 Talking alarm version, I am very impressed with it after hearing the functions on another bike it was fitted too, but being a numpty where electrics are concerned I have no idea on how to install it, even tho the wiring diagram and instructions look so simple , I am lost, does anybody have any experience with fitting alarms? Any help would be much appreciated. :o(

If you're a numpty, as u say, then in my opinion u have 2 choices

1. Get an auto spark to install it.

or

2. Buy an easy 2 wire alarm with a trembler that basically bolts across the battery terminals.

I dont think u should be splicing and dicing the loom if you're not too competent, you could end up in a world of brown stuff if a wire comes loose and the immobiliser cuts in at speed.
