Speedway what a blast!

Those of you who have been will know what I mean those who have not try it and see.

Locate your nearest Speedway team and get along to their meeting. I watched a race meeting on Sky the other week then at teh BMF chatted with the promotions team. Last night went along to see the Peterborough Panthers race against the Swindon Robins. What a brilliant night out. Would recommend it to you all and all the family can enjoy it. I will certainly be going again.

It certainley is great entertainment, I used to follow Wimbledon for many years, sadly they do not exist any more. One of my mates I grew up with was a speedway rider and rode for Poole and Weymouth amongst other teams. If you ever get the opportunity to ride a speedway bike, take it, it's an absolute eye opener and learning to control a bike just on the throttle with no brakes is valuable experience.

Have to agree, I used to support the Ellesmere Port Gunners. I myself used to ride Grass Track manyyyyyyyyyy moons ago, again teaches you real quick how to control bike (especially if if go thro hedge into field)
If Carlsberg make one I want mine shaved.

I have 2 toys, one is my bike, the other smells of fish

One of the first bikes I learnt to ride on was a 200cc Triumph Tiger Cub Junior grasser at the age of about 13. It was quite funny riding that and then jumping straight on to a Saracen 125 crosser as the gear change were on different sides
