Just noticed this on a USA site
I've been on this run many times, they get thousands in attendance.

I've never gone to this. My family are in Liverpool, so its not like its a long way for me to go for a bike ride. A few of my friends went on the run last year, apparently there were thousands of bikes. Overheating Blackbirds were seen strewn along the route.

Your right, thousands do go approx 6k, its worth going just to see the spectacular sight on New Brighton sea front. If you can get near the front you'll be OK, if not hang on near the end, its usually policed very well, of course you can always pull over for 1/2 hour & watch the parade of bikes & scooter. It is very well supported by scooter fans/clubs.
Really is worth a visit. If I get mine back together by then I'm going just to take some pics.

Just do it, you know you want to.

I'm not sure if i will go, my mates were all asking me to go, but i'll be coming to Liverpool for Mothers day, the weekend before.
I'll see how i feel nearer the time.
