Continental Road Attack tyres

Postby protector on Tue Jan 06, 2009 2:56 pm

I put Road attacks on my first bike, a 98 Suzuki GSXF600. The bike was originally on Bridgestone 020's. Which where very twitchy in the wet and didn't enjoy cornering, on that bike. So when it was time i put a set of Road attacks on the bike. What a transformation. Superb grip in the wet and super sticky in the dry. I kept up with an Aprillia Milli, a ZX9 and a gsx1400 on the twisties in Scotland. I traded the bike in 7 thousand miles later, tyres still had loads of tread. About another 4-5 thousand miles worth.

My Blackbird has 020's when i bought it. Still didnt get on with them. Not good in the wet, and i take it easy in the wet. So, on went the Road attacks.
I bought them from a tyre dealer in Dunstable who has an ebay shop. £155 and next day delivery. I get my mate to fit the tyres. Normally costs me 8 cans of carlsberg.
