Where is my post?

Any questions for the HOC management committee.

Where is my post?

Postby Dibble on Tue Sep 23, 2008 10:27 pm

Having spent some time typing in a post regarding the National Rally Debrief I sent it and it has disappeared where is it?

Biggles and Chimpy were posting at similar time but mine never reached the forum.

I've occasionally had this happen myself. If I compose a longish post now, I do it in word and then paste it into the reply box, saves having to do it all again if it goes XXXX up.

Well I am not doing it again so CTR gets off with it and I had a good time at the rally as did my relatives.

Copy all the text in the post before you submit it.

If it does go missing you can start a new post and paste it in again.

Had similar problems, and I also now use Word and cut and paste for lengthy replies

I think the policeman in you is showing. ;o) I thought CTR was the accuser not the accused :o?

Or are you suggesting he is bearing false testament?

...Andy, I would be grateful if you would not 'allow me to get away with it' but as Chairman, take the time to let us all know your view! Yes I have toned down my original comments as I felt them to be unreasonable and out of proportion, however, I am still keen to have the discussion and certainly hear from the Chairman. ..Er...its your job I think!

I have never had this happen unless it was finger trouble of some sort. If it happens agin, check you didn't press the "back" button by mistake. If you did, click on the "forward" button and your entry should return.

If you really can't explain it, then I have no idea. Once a post has been entered, it should not just disappear.

Alan

I've found the forward button doesn't help unless you have previewed the post first, it just takes you to a blank reply box.
