You coming down Chris...That will be fantastic, there are 18 of us jumping in all...I'll be the one with the red and blue smoke...oh bum, thats the Red Arrows isn't it...the sensible ones that DONT jump out of the plane!

I think you will have to watch it from outside the camp though as we have had to put our guest list in already, but I'm sure the view will be just as amazing.

Pub after, then pack the kids off to their dads for the rest of the weekend and then time to REALLY celabrate! [smilie=a_partyguy.gif]

Hope the weather will be good as its 205 miles each way LP!!..If the weather not good, likely that I will pass, however, I think you would have to postpone anyway if that were the case! :)

I shall be there to see it all. I sent in my application in weeks ago, so it should be interesting.

Yes, the cloud base needs to be at a certain minimum height! that way, you will break cloud with sufficient time to steer to LZ! dont know what the heights are though im afraid so just pray for very heavy rain and low cloud!! ho ho!!..As for somewhere to stay, what time do we need to be at the airfield on Saturday? I am in Bristol on business till Friday pm! will then need to drive back to Lincolnshire! was planning to leave first thing saturday morning! not sure about the afternoon yet but might like to take you up on the offer! 8) :)

We, the jumpers and their spectators that are being signed in at the time, have to meet at Castle Primary school, Ludgershall on Saturday morning at 7.15am!!!

Ive just phoned them and the course starts at 8am for paperwork and training and then its first come first jumping!

Chris, you will be fine to get into the camp anytime but others I'm not sure,,,the phone number if anyone wants to enquire is...01980 678250 and web address http://www.tandemjump.co.uk

Once its all done we are heading back to the school for a small buffet but you have to bring your own drinks! They told us originally we were going to the pub!
Although knowing me, I will try and jolly them up to going to the pub anyway cause I know I will be after the school :P

This will please some of you...it seems that the people organising this event think it will be better if we go in the afternoon rather than 7.15am! Suits me

I'll post on here last thing Friday night as soon as I know the definate arrangements.

3 days to go ooer!

Definate arrangements confirmed already...damn their eager!

We are now meeting at the school for 1.30pm, to get to Netheravon for 2pm.
Spectators need to bring photo ID with them or watch from outside the camp.

There will NOT be an 'After Jump Party' at the school now but in their words...they would like to encourage as many as possible (jumpers and spectators) to come back to 'The Queens Head' pub for a well earned drink in the beer garden. (of which I will be continueing! :P )

Sorry if it seems I've gone on alot about this jump (for those of you not interested) but for those of you that are, I wouldn't have wanted you to have wrong info and turn up not realising that you couldn't get into camp!

(bit easier on the ride down now eh Chris...your still welcome to stay over)

My next post will be the video of it! (can you tell I'm a weeny bit excited  )[smilie=banana.gif]

Im so sorry that times have changed!..I'd already decided that it would be too difficult to get there at that time of the morning and have now made other arrangements to go to another event with Roy.

....I hope it goes well (Er and the chute opens!!!..ho ho...dont worry!..Ive done the training and the odds are in the order of winning the lottery that it wont!!)..enjoy!.....and post the pictures..GOOD LUCK LP! 8) 8) :)
