Just pulled a few of this year's mags:

70's Ducati 500 twin @ twice the price of a CB/GT/XS500 of the day
70's BMW R45; a tourer for midgets
80's Suzuki Madura 700/1200 V4
80's Yamaha TR1 1000cc V-Twin
80's Yamaha XZ550 V-Twin

If you've never heard of these - there's probably a good reason.

I rode the TR1 when they first came out.
Thought it was a lovely bike
