Any ideas as to how to reduce the size of the attachment to fit the screen?

To say that my CB200 was the same year as your CB175 the difference in design is amazing the CB175 looks older, however ever although I believe that the 2 bike did overlap in production if I am not mistaken the CB200 did replace the CB175.

I bought my CB200 for 560 quid (paid cash and got a really good deal back then) on the road on the 1st of Aug 1979 and it was the only vehichle I have ever owned from new

yes Steve you must use a photo editor and reduce the dimensions of the photo I use a width of 700px and set the programme to adjust the height accordingly ;o)

OK. But on other forums I use (ie the Triumph one) that allow bbCode editing, you can just insert the "width=600" instruction into the [img ] code and it does it. Doesn't work on here.

You could well be right, they look a little shorter but it's difficult to tell from that picture.

Here's my CB175 from 1977. I was at Uni in Brighton and my girlfriend (now SWMBO) was at college in Derby. Many early morning trips up the M1 (and late night trips back). This also scanned from an old, old photo.

Sold it to my brother who managed to hole both pistons on the A1 one afternoon. Don't recall what happened to it after that. :o(

That must have been a K3 I'd guess (haven't got all my data at work). I had a K6 CB175 which was around 1974 which was modified quite a bit, 240cc big bore kit, 2-1 exhaust, Girling gas shocks, Avon Roadrunners on Akront rims, CB72 front brake, TZ seat and fairing. Was a real hoot!

@ Chimpy the number stamped on the cans is HM425A they are similar in design to the CX500 Custom cans and as I have been looking at a 750kz custom on ebay which has the same cans I have come to this conclusion. Also from pics I have found from standard 750k's the design on the cans are similar to standard CX500 cans.

425 is the model code for the CB750KZ and CA. I don't know whether the A signifies custom but it might.

Well they are definately original Honda .... and in very good condition so they are worth a packet. I may take them off and seal them in a bag replace them with a BSM 4-2 and only use them when the bike has been restored for classic bike shows.

Your CX looks wicked, for some reason every time I have seen a blue one it's been in a bit of a sorry state but yours looks good :o)
