Postby bmwbarry on Wed May 21, 2008 11:46 pm

Hi All, new to this forum today. Currently own a VFR and a Suzuki V Strom thats now for sale.

I have had 19 bikes in my 33 years of riding and have listed them all on my website.
Have a look if you have the time.
Thanks,
Barry

Welcome too!

39 Years and I couldnt possibly remember how many bikes, a bloody lot though!

I can count 7 in the last 9 years, looking for perfection I guess! ;o) Here is what I passed my test on in '69 all 78cc's of it!
My first bike was a clapped-out New Hudson that my Dad gave me when he passed his car test, bloody hell I sound as old as Barry!(The Barry, not the Barry above!)

33 years and I've lost count of how many bikes I've had.

Not as old as some but still manage 33 years of biking and owned lots of bikes of all makes except Ducati and Suzuki. Have also had lots of bikes not owned by me but used through work and various club connections.

Still say my old VFR750 was/is the best just waiting for the funding to get it back to road legal.

Hi again and thanks for the replies. I have got a T plate Red VFR, but now also I have a 55 plate red Vtec.
The story is that I tried a VFR back in 1999 and did not like it enough to buy one. Now a few bikes later I brought the 1999 VFR last year to try again and was very happy with it. I then had the VFR and the Suzuki Vstrom that was for sale at the beginning of this thread. The Vstrom has now been sold and I have brought the other VFR Vtec.
So the answer is that I now have both VFR's and may be selling the 1999 T plate one.
Its done 22000 miles and is in OK condition. I will be looking for £1799 for it if I do decide to sell it.
Anyone interested?
