Hi from East Sussex

Just joined the forum and wanted to say Hi. I have also just paid my subscription to the HOC.

Passed my unrestricted motorcycle test about 6 weeks ago. I used to do motocross about 20 years ago but never found the time to go out and get my licence. The propossed changes to the test/law in October gave my the kick up the backside I needed to go out and get my full licence.

Purchased a brand new Transalp XL700V about a week ago and absolutely love the bike. Can't really give a comparison on the new Transalp over the previous model as I have never ridden the 650, but I am really impressed with it, but then I think with my lack of biking experience I would have been impressed with whatever Honda I got.

Need to get some road experience and looking forward to getting involved in the Ride Outs. Anyway it such a nice day down here I am going out for a ride around Brighton and maybe onto Hastings. :o))
