VFR750FT Instrument back lights

Just wondering if anyone out there has changed globes on the instrument panel on this model bike? I have the workshop manual and it says to take the upper fairing off and the instrument cluster out. Any tips. Also the manual gives the globe wattages for every light there except the time clock. Have a guess which globe has blown. Yep the time clock. Any advice appreciated.

Haynes manual gives L models onwards 12v 1.7w including the clock.
