how do i replace inner bar weights to my honda blackbird

    I am just about to refit them to my Fireblade. I suspect they are similar so I will let you know how I get on, removal is the reverse of fitting :)

    I reckon that they could be removed with needle nose mole grips or similar but they tend to be pretty nicely wedged inside the bars.

    The Fireblade RRW inner bars had two rubber rings around the metal bar and two metal 'snap rings' which made them snap into place. I had to grease the rubber rings to fit the bars (no laughing at the back :) . I reckon you could remove them as I said above or screw a bolt into the inner weights and attempt to lever them out. Pouring oil into the bars would probably help.
