At the end of the lane, I pulled up and pushed the choke back in and then stalled the bike!
Now she's refusing to start!!! The starter motor spins away when the key is turned, but nothing else... could anyone out there suggest what the problem could be?
Many thanks - Matt.

........couple of issues: when you say "The starter motor spins away when the key is turned, but nothing else..", do you mean the engine is turning over and not starting or the starter motor is spinning without turning the engine? That said, anther cause could be dirty plugs; running on choke is going to cause an excessively rich mixture and, when the engine cut out, would left the plugs wet and carbonized; take out the plugs and clean them. Before you take the plugs out, take of you filler cap and spin the engine over; that way you can see if fuel is getting through because the plugs will be wet. While the plugs are out check for a spark. If you have spark and fuel check you air filter to see if it's damp.
