got small rattle at front of engine around about oil filter, not t/chain (new)not rings All o.k only does it sometimes only when hot give it a rev and noise stops go for 2/3 days using bike then noise reappears .lost for ideas what it could be, no loss of power goes like a dream otherwise.30,450mls not burning oil good tight engine (HELP)

You quite sure its from the engine...sounds like it could be a 'loose article' somewhere in the fairings etc (depending on bike of course!) :)

you say timing chain is new, didn't drop anything when putting the engine back together ? :shock:
