Hi, Everybody, What is the best chain lube to use on my hornet. In the next two months or so i hope to fit a scott oiler, Somebody said try Wurth or Motul are these good or is there anything better. Thanks Boblet. :o?

Not much to choose betweem them, follow the instruction, and apply regularly

'jimmyb' is right.

'Chain lube' is a bit of a misnomer. Modern chains have lubrication built in by the manufacturer and held in place by various style 'rings'. What the user has to do is keep 'O' rings soft and pliable and free from damage by dirt and rust. Honda recommend frequent use of a heavy oil. I suspect because it does keep the rust off and also gets flung off the chain taking dirt particles with it. This is the same principle as the Scottoiler. A dirty back wheel usually means a clean rust free chain ;o)
