West End Cafe Llandovery

Sandwitch and I just got back from Llandovery after a rideout where we stopped at the West End Cafe. This is a Biker Cafe and the tip was given to me by Red V Four .... excellent, very reasonable prices and loads of bikes of all types .....Classics, Tourers, Street Racers etc.

I wanted to put a couple of pics up but get the message that the board attachment Quota has been reached.

I got it sorted and linked then to photbucket ;o)

It's been given a lick of paint and new signage since I last called in there  . It always used to look a bit scruffy.

Either Sandwitch is "all hot and bothered", or using her "do you really have to take a photo of me" look! Come on, you must have one of her sitting on your machine, looking in all her loveliness!

You took the words out of my mouth, Red ! I was sizzling in the hot sun and not in the mood to be captured on a photo. But there we go - my husband never listens to me... ;o)

Actually , I added that I had too many clothes on ......thinking of how women on motorbikes are usually portrayed..

By the way, the interior looks really nice now - they ´ve even got a conservatory - all very nice and clean , including the facilities ( I can´t say much about the men´s ..but the ladies´certainly are !

Guys if you are in Llandovery and want some good food and don't want to pay the earth then go past the West end cafe and go straight on towards the Black mountains and you'll see a sign for a garden centre, in there is a cracking cafe which cooks the food there and then fresh. we dropped in there on the Bikesafe day and they were very biker freindly :o))

Alternatively if you carry on and go out to Llanwrda there's a cracking little cafe in the village just next to the local pub where you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine again nice freshly cooked food that does'nt cost the earth.

Once you've had your fill you can go back to the West end and just ogle all the bikes as they come in,

Thanks for the tip, Rob -we might try it next time.
We usually take a picnic, though - only had a coffee and a fairy cake in the "West End" which were fine.It looks all home cooked there , and I thought the prices were ok..
But it´s good to find out about alternatives ...we will certainly go there again sometime this season. ;o)
Looking forward to meeting you.

Well it's one way of keeping the fairy population down to the minimum ;o) :P
