NEC 2008 VOLUNTEERS

Postby gonzocbr on Fri Apr 18, 2008 3:40 pm

It's Rona here and I know it's a bit early yet, but I already have people putting themselves forward for manning the HOC stand at the NEC this year. It's on a first come first served basis, so the quicker you can let me know the better. It runs from 28th November to 7th December. As of yet we don't know if Honda themselves will want helpers again like they did last year, but as soon as I know things on that score I will be asking for volunteers for that too. But for now I just want to concentrate on our stand. So get your name down as soon as you can. All we ask is that you can do at least 2 days.

Also does anyone know if we have any bike anniversaries this year..........so we can get the appropriate bikes to display on the stand. If we don't have any, then does anyone have any ideas for a couple of bikes we could use for display. If we have no anniversaries then I think we need to go with 2 show standard bikes...something a bit different...a nice paintjob, or a tricked out bike etc, something like that...if anyone has a bike along those lines that they don't mind if we borrow for 12 days for the show, then either send me a personal message on here or e-mail me on tazzy2001@hotmail.com and if you are not volunteering for the stand we will make sure you get a free day pass as a show of appreciation.

So on either score, you can get in touch with me by either of the above methods.

Thanks for your time and lets hope we can have a great show like we did last year..........except for the Thunderdome of course :o0
Love Rona xxxxxxxxxx

Hi Hon - Put me down for both weekends. I'll also try and do press day (which is the 27th BTW). I can't commit to any more until I know what my workload is like.

I've made this a sticky - so it shouldn't disappear too quickly !!

I'd offer to help, but as I can't take time off then weekends is all I can do and only one day, so I suppose that's no good?

Mick,

Tell us which day. We can use one or two one-day volunteers.
