I would also be interested in a polo shirt...I dont like t-shirts as they feel like they are strangling me! So anything with an open neck is good.

Nice to see we have touched on a subject that gets people voicing an opinion :D and great input regarding prices etc..

I am in the process of getting quotes, but as I said before, it all depends on whether there is a significant level of demand. :)

I know that Stritchy has started another thread entitled HOC Regalia which you might like to take a look at....

Claire - I know what you mean... open necks are better for me too.. less restrictive (and, I think, a lot more flattering!). :D

That's a good price for Fruit of the Loom. 8)
I think the Northants & MK Branch pay £8.50 for a FotL embroidered polo shirt.
But with VAT it's £10 and we charge £11 to the members.

Don't forget that there'd also be origination, delivery from the printers to Jennie and p&p to the member to add, which all adds up and has to be included in the price.

Why not V neck T shirts? Cheaper than Polos but not restrictive around the neck. Same supplier we already use has them and can print them without additional charges.

Of course they do :o)) At the Portuguese International Varadero Meeting (VIM) The members were surprised, that the organisers had ladies v-neck T-shirts with a nicely scalloped V neck and hem, they were tailored for ladies.

Much better than the normal 'small mens' baggy things they had to put up with at other VIM's.

Just picked up the first Golden Wing that came to hand and we are still showing women in mens clothing. The girl in the read sweat shirt - £16.90 - looks like she has borrowed her dad's :o(

Sorry Barry but the pictures do not change no matter how long you keep your Golden Wing! Did you expect her to have grown into it by now?

Ther are new picture coming and they will hopefully reflect the range as it should be shown.

Having just read the Worcestershire HOC topic, It got me thinking.

Many years ago  I belonged to the '2 Smoking Pistons' bike club. Upon joining everyone was given a sew on badge of the club insignia and probably more importantly a 'badge of office'.
The normal badge of office was 'Road Captain'. or if you happened to know how to adjust a chain 'Chief Mechanic'. There were a number of them, many with a nautical theme - commodore, captain, etc. I think the Club Secretary picked them up as 'job lots' ;o) .

Some members had a number of them sewn on their jackets. They were always presented amid much cheering and swigging of beer :o)) . Whilst they may have been presented as a bit of fun, they were worn with a certain amount of pride. :o)

People do like sew on badges. :o)

Not everyone likes badges............ me for instance.

But I'm all in favour of offering them for sale.
