My Stator burnt out and I had to get it rewound which was annoying to say the least although not stupidly expensive to sort out. The stator fault was supposed to have been fixed as the 04/05's had problems with them.

There is some discussion on here and various other Forums about sump corrosion although afaik there is only one case where it is leaking.

That said It is a really nice bike to ride, it brakes and handles very well and I find it reasonably comfortable (I am 5' 10"). In typical Fireblade style you can do trackdays on it go commuting and travel long distances etc etc. Honda seem to have sorted the fuel injection jerkiness that the RRY suffered from.

Certainly wouldn't want to 'poach' members in any way from here, but as you asked for fireblade owners try http://www.cbrfirebladers.co.uk and make yourself known on the forum?
