Happy Birthday Rona

Postby alansh on Sun Aug 10, 2008 6:17 pm

It's that time of the year again :o))

We had a great night out at the dogs last night - managed to lose a small fortune - but good fun doing it.

CHIMP BOY.....Well I'm hoping to distract myself by standing on a glass bridge over 1 mile above the bottom of the Grand Canyon on the day..do you think that'll work??? :o0 That's after we've driven half way across the USA along Route 66 from Chicago to LA, so I think it will work. I'll just cry a lot about it when I get home :o)) :o)) Does it hurt btw turning 40?? Don't like pain :o(
Pictures came out brillaint thanks, how's about urs?? Guess we did celebrate at Gaydon really..playing on a bouncy castle is what u do at birthdays isn't it :o)) :o)) :o)) God that was sooooooo much fun

The mostpainful part of turning 40 in may cas is when you see the stripagram the boys get for you ----- in my case it was a rolly polly lumps in her underpants 'agram. The Strytchy hit me so hard with a cream flan it left images on the wall and curtain behind me.

I turn 50 next birthday I do not want any repeat of the above.

Ouch Dibble......I'm glad I'll be out of the country. Think I'll take my chances with the mile drop into a bloody great big canyon..sounds much safer

That trip sounds really good! One of my favourites was driving Highway 1 in California (Pacific Coast Highway) a few years ago. Seen it so many times on the movies and allways wanted to do it.

My pics from Gaydon also turned OK, Shellshine has them for Strytchy to do whatever with.

Turning 40 was painless, 30 was much worse I hated that.

Looks awesome, we should get to see some of that as well, as we're doing a day trip to San Diego while we're in LA and we're going down the coast road as much as we can. Can't wait.

It's a fantastic road, lots of tight turns and drops into the ocean :o0 That picture was taken from about 500ft up, Bixby Bridge, just right of centre is almost 300ft above sea level. Later that day we went to a Ducati track day at Laguna Seca. It was a very good holiday 8) .
