for those who like's taking things apart

Hi :o)

I wanted to share something with you that my computer tutor once told me.
I found it very handy in many different ways.

Ever taken something apart and afterwards not sure how it should look or where things should go ?

My computer tutor told me once " Take photo's of all the mother boards and insides of any computers before you take them apart"

Best advise i've had in a long time, then you can always look back to how they should look and where things should go.

Ive used this advise in many other different ways as well.

might help someone out there who likes taking things apart.

:o)

:P excellent advice - as long as you don't forget where you put the camera as I did before the Oxford Rally last weekend :x ! Still others thank goodness were more organised! :o))

Yes I agree that with modern digital cameras, its easy and inexpensive and well worth the 30 seconds it takes to do it! :o)

when I was a kid (no comments now, please......) if any of my toys were held together with screws, or nuts and bolts, I used to take them apart. Sometimes they stayed apart if I couldn't remember how they were assembled!
It used to get me in trouble if it was found out about: "Granny gave you that, and now look at it!" :o(

Don't do that with my bikes though, except when I need to. Now with a digital camera, it's so much easier to get an "instant" photo, so you can see how it all was when putting it back together the following day. No waiting for prints to come back, and no drawings to make.

Yes, good advice. I always do this before dismantling anything and make notes, it saves a lot of tears, usually mine!

The first thing I leaned on computers (when Nelson was a cadet) is ctrl+alt+del will get you out of a lot of trouble!

Regards, Al
I started out with nothin and I still got most of it left.
