Looking for a fuel tank, RH side panel and a front mudguard for a CM250T 1982. Second hand is fine, they dont have to be perfect. In blue would be good but not important.
Any help gratefully recieved to get this little beauty up and running again. :o))
Many thanks.

..........Why oh Why do you not like the CBR? You had a previous bad experience? ......I cant see why else as the model is singularly one of the best in the Honda range! agreed you need to be under 5 ft 8 to ride the 600 and the RR nearly crippled my back cos Im 5ft 11...that said, build quality, performance and handling are second to none! I loved the 600F..

Has your prolapsed disk got better then?

BTW, I agree, the CBR's are crap, you only have to look at the sales figures to see that, nobody buys them.
I started out with nothin and I still got most of it left.

Steady people, I didnt say they were "CRAP" so please read properly before posting. I personally dont like them and I have owned one so I can comment!! Good bike just not for me and we all have our preferences or the world would be a boring place. I do own a Suzuki after all. :o)) Oh and that happens to be one of Suzukis best sellers, so there!
My disc is getting better slowly (thank you) but rather than buy a bike that needs work as I dont fancy scrabbling on the floor doing repairs I would rather buy one I can use when the winter arrives, as you all know Suzukis fall apart at the 1st sign of winter. ;o) See even I take the mick out of my own bike so no need to be so defensive al-n-di.
The only garage I have use of is 20miles from me and have no room for a bike lift so Suzuki over there in winter for a clean and Honda used in winter then swapped over in summer, you get the drift?

My very thoughts, maybe we are being strung along here!

Again, I said disc is getting better thats not to say I cant buy another bike for when I am better. I do still own my Suzuki and have owned Hondas (4 in total), Kawasakis 3 and a Yamaha so im not a new rider as have been riding for over 18years.
If you feel you are being strung along here you can have the pain and the tablets I have to take and the fact im not allowed to drive a car let alone ride a bike and the sun is out for a change!
All because I said I dont like the CBR and by the way I dont like the GSXR either!
I am allowed to choose which bike I would like and rather than someone offering me a CBR and wasting their time I thought I would narrow it down a bit, ah well never mind.

Sorry to hear about your disc problem - painful to say the least. :x When you can ride again I think you should go for a more upright riding position, my mate has a bad back and cannot take the 'racing' type riding position. Try to find something like a CB or CBF - although ride one first as I find a CBF particularly can be a bit 'bouncy' which is great fun :P but not good with back problems :o( . Hope you get sorted before the summer (?) is over

Thank you EricaVFR,
Its frustrating not being able to ride a bike let alone walk properly.
So a CB its going to be then? I know the money avaliable isnt a lot but should be able to pick up a decent Honda for that amount? £600ish.

:| Not sure on prices but search 'Bike Trader' on the web (Auto Trader's Bike division) and then fill in CB500 and the price you want to pay and it brings up a list of those they have available within that bracket - great for checking up what you should be paying! ;o)

A word of warning using the Bike Trader Post Code search facility!!..I dont know how they work the miles out but must be by drawing a straight line on a map to connect you to the bike address!!

..I went to buy my RR600 from an address whose post code put it 98 miles from my house!!...It was in fact 152 miles! by road! This has happened many times!

Yes, have noticed this a few times myself in the past, I think they do it as the crow flys, or it seems like it. ;o) Thanks for reminding me though.
