I have for sale my VFR800 VTEC. Being the ABS model, it also has a remote preload adjuster, so no scraped knuckles and silly spanners if you want to carry a pillion! Spec as follows ,pics below:
* VFR VTEC (ABS), 798cc V4 engine
* 7,500 miles with FSH - WAS SERVICED TUESDAY (16/06/09) AND THE MECHANIC EVEN COMMENTED ON WHAT A GREAT EXAMPLE OF A WELL MAINTAINED VFR THIS IS!!
* Very good condition - only bad point on the whole bike is stone chips on the forks, a common VFR problem - importantly the forks themselves are NOT pitted and are perfect
* Honda HISS immobiliser
* Meta 357T alarm & immobiliser
* Bridgestone BT-020's front and rear with plenty of tread
* Colour coded pillion seat cowl also included, PLUS the silver caps to go over the grab rail/luggage rack holes, as well as the grab rails themselves.
* New battery about 4 weeks ago (old one was faulty, apparently). Has been kept on a trickle charger ever since!
It also has a full set of genuine, colour coded, Honda luggage available at extra cost. This comprises of top box with optional back rest, panniers (with optional individual pannier bags) and all the racks, currently fitted to the bike for the one and only trip they have been used which was to Le Mans this year for the Moto GP. These will be £500 extra to the advertised price - they are £900 from Honda!!
Only selling as I never use it 2up as I originally intended so going back to a sportsbike for a bit! Bike has been very well cared for, washed after nearly every ride, bodywork has been polished and waxed, chain lubed after every ride, all engine bits covered in protective Scottoiler spray and it's only ever been ridden in the rain when I've been caught out! The bike has always been garaged, both by myself and the previous owner - mine even has carpet in it!
I am an IAM member, the bike has not been thrashed and I have owned it since it had 2,500 miles on the clock.
May consider a p/x for a CBR600RR, but it would have to be very mint condition indeed!
Price is £4,250 for the bike + £500 for the luggage.
Why have this: http://www.onyerbike.net/used.php?make=24&id=1954 when you could have mine?!
Please email coultonm 'at' hotmail 'dot' com with any enquiries, as I rarely get the chance to frequent the forum!
Many thanks,
