Thanks for arranging this Erica. It was nice to put faces to names.

I might even come on a Honda next time (and stay a bit longer!)

Well done Erica and Allie for getting it running :o)). Nice meeting place, good food, we can recommend the Steak and Ale Pie ;o).

It was good to meet up with everyone and even Mrs. Chimpy  enjoyed the evening.

I can't promise to get to every meeting but I will make it to some, might even come on a bike as well instead of being chauffered ;o) .

Regards

Chimpy

Woohoo think we may have recruited a new member.... The guy we just brought Jack's new bike from! He seems like a really nice bloke, has owned a few Hondas and is very knowledgeable and friendly :o)
He said he had no idea there was a Reading Branch, hardly surprising cos its new, but if other people have looked before and not found anything maybe they won't look again so maybe we need to find them, not quite sure how right now (so I guess this post is actually quite pointless) but I'm sure something will come to me.

We have now got posters up all around Reading, including at the IAM, Hein Gerrick and Fireblade Honda (with A5 flyers). Also Mike at Honda has done an email announcement to his customrs data base so I think we are getting it out and about. Will have to see who turns up tonight! I reckon once the web site is linked to the main HOC site and we have lots of stuff on it, that will also encourage more.

Any other suggestions very welcome!

Just a quick update - if trying to get onto the new Reading HOC web site is driving you 'dotty' the reason is, I didn't realise there was a 'dot' between the Reading and HOC  i.e. the correct web site is http://www.reading.hoc.org.uk - as per the link from the main HOC web site :P All posters and flyers now corrected and being re issued! ;o) Well done to Lindz for getting it all rolling and looking so good and our official photographer (Chimpy) for getting some pictures! (but please avoid me with that camera!)

Look forward to seeing everyone on the 24th Sept at The Swann, Three Mile Cross
