Don't forget folks, Branch meeting tomorrow at The Swan PH, Three Mile Cross just off the A33, 1/2 mile south of junction 11 of the M4. Get there early for some great pub grub (I ought to be on commission) before the meeting starts at 7.30. We now have a private bar and there is plenty of parking at rear of pub.

How very sociable it all looks! :o))

Oh, if only the members around here got to meet up like that.
I think that even if they were told that free food and drink would be provided they still wouldn't come. :o( They can't even meet up with other members on their bikes! If it wasn't so far to another branch where the members actually want to do something, I would join them.

We seem to be a nice sociable lot, which is obviously good this time of year as bike riding opportunities as less. We have a really good meeting place as well which helps. The pub can't do enough for us and are extremely friendly, helpful and supportive.

whinge whinge whinge whinge whinge... :P

Joking apart - I know it's a real problem for you.

I dunno what the solution is but fingers crossed that just maybe in coming months when the new rally / events season begins that folks from your neck of the woods take the opportunity to join in and get enthused... :o)) :o)) try to be hopefully optimistic red... 2009 might be a cracking year for your area! :o)

Well, just how many times am I expected to write to all the local members (at my expense) to keep them updated of all the wonderful HOC things going on in our area (!), and requesting their company, with no response until they eventually decide to tell me to p*** o** ?
I recently wrote to four new members, and not one had the decency to even call me. (I wonder if they're reading this?)
If they don't make any contact, how do I know what would get them enthused? After all, it's their club too. I suppose my only solution for HOC activity is to move to the Midlands. ;o)
